SAN DIEGO BEST TINT · MOBILE INSTALLATION
Mercedes-Benz SL550 Window Tinting in San Diego
This silver SL550 received a consistent 35% shade across its side and rear windows. UNION Nano Ceramic IR adds superior heat rejection and 99.9% UV protection through the treated glass while complementing the roadster’s appearance.

Mobile service throughout San Diego County.
Finished Mercedes-Benz SL550 with Nano Ceramic IR window tint.
About This Mercedes-Benz SL550 Tint Installation
The side and rear windows on this Mercedes-Benz SL550 received 35% UNION Nano Ceramic IR film. The finished photos show the tint with the retractable hardtop closed, while the installation gallery also shows the roadster with its roof open.
A 35% film gives the glass a darker appearance without choosing one of the darkest shades. The percentage identifies the film; the original glass and added film together determine the final light transmission.
Protective sheeting covered the cream-colored door panels during installation. The close-up application photo shows the film being fitted to the side glass, followed by the finished door and interior.

How We Work
- Choose coverage and shade. Discuss the side and rear glass, your preferred appearance, and the film options for your SL.
- Protect and prepare. Cover the door panels, clean the glass, and fit the selected film with care.
- Review and care. Walk through the result and explain drying, cleaning, and lifetime film warranty coverage.
Why Choose San Diego Best Tint for Your Mercedes-Benz SL?
This SL550 project uses 35% film; we can discuss other shades around your existing glass, appearance and visibility preferences. We confirm a suitable mobile installation setup, cover the door panels for protection and use computer-cut patterns for a precise fit.
The automotive film’s lifetime warranty covers peeling, bubbling and fading for as long as you own the vehicle. We explain drying and aftercare when the installation is complete.

Great experience from start to finish. Sergiu was punctual, friendly, professional, and communication was clear and straightforward throughout the process. He helped me choose the right tint level for my (Chrysler 200) windshield based on what I was looking for, and the work was efficient and very well done. I also had the tint replaced on my rear driver-side window that had started rippling from a job done by a different company years ago. The old tint was basically baked onto the window and difficult to remove, but he took care of it and the replacement came out great. I’m really happy with the results and the overall experience. I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to friends and family who need tinting done.Read more
